Bike Fit / Multi Fit

We start with a chat to get to know you, any current issues you may have and goals you may be working towards. Then it's on to our assessment of you, the rider.

 

We're looking at your feet, knees, hips, spine, neck, general posture, shoulders and hands as well as some very important movement tests.

 

On to the massage couch, it's time to quantify range of motion at key joints and perform some vital clinical tests to gain further insight.

 

Information at hand, we'll then measure and replicate your bike setup on to the Bike Fitting jig before you climb aboard. You'll go for a spin as we utilise our Video Cameras and Motion Analysis Software, to objectively measure and assess left-right balance and current riding position. Then we go deeper, looking at ALL of the following:

  • Shoe and Cleat Setup

  • Saddle Height and Rider Interface

  • Saddle Positioning - Fore-Aft Setup

  • Riding Posture & How To Optimise

  • Cycling Technique

  • Arm Position

  • Hand and Wrist Position

  • Handlebar Height

  • *Position check via incremental test

  • *Moulding of Sidas Custom Cycling Insoles where required (at extra cost)

  • *More time spent both on and off the bike vs Foundation Fit

When we're both happy, we'll record the final position on the the fit forms (which you'll receive a link to) and replicate the jig position to your bike as closely as possible. Where changes may be needed, we'll discuss all required components required including seatpost style, stem length / angle, handlebar width / style, and crank length, all within 3 hours for the Performance Bike Fit and 4 Hours for the Multi-Bike Fit!​

Performance Fit completed, it's over to you. Head out, ride the new setup and let us know how you get on. We love to hear you're happy and guarantee your satisfaction​.

For the Multi-Bike Fit, we'll switch out the bikes and start dialling in the next position. We'll have some further understanding of your requirements so now just a case of using this to optimise both your bikes and setup. Please note, we can only cover 2 bikes during the Multi-Bike session but can accommodate more if you Contact Us.

    • TT Bar Length & Angle

    Two and a half hours.

  • Performance Multi Bike (2 Positions)

    • Handlebar Height and width

    • 5 Min Ramp Assessment

    • Sidas Insole moulding where required

    Approximately four hours.
